First thing you should know is that he doesn't make the kuih himself.
Next is,he gets his produce from various suppliers.
Also nowadays the malay people have become very profit minded.
Thus they also get their supply of kuih muih from mass producers just like their chinese kuih counterparts.
Making matters worse,more and more people have no qualms about using prepacked santan.Either that or they leave the santan out in the open way too long which leads to semi fermentation which sounds the death knell on the texture and taste of our favourite teatime morsels.
Therefore quality suffers because the suppliers like to buy their ingredients from places like hypermarkets where the quality is most times deplorable.

Hence you get this posting up here because I really love malay kuih muih.
And boy am I pissed at having to put up with this crap excuse of malay kuih.
Just bear in mind that when you purchase anything here from this stall with such an impressive spread,anything at all to do with santan,egg,mayo,ikan bilis you are edging closer to the day you will contract the Schoolcanteen Syndrome.
The syndrome where you make your tv premiere doubled up in pain while clutching your tummy cos you and your mates have been purging non stop,the school had to send you to the hospital or klinik kesihatan.
So come here and buy only if you would like to infiltrate Adventist Hospital,gossip with the nurses about Clinic Services (M) Sdn Bhd and find out how on earth they could misdiagnose a man as HIV+,causing him to run away from his family for ten entire years.
