Yesterday,on the 8th of august 2011,another event was held to further condemn Gurney Drive.This time 12,000 mudballs loaded with so called Effective Micro-organism (EM) ravaged the coastline to turn it into a swamp.

Johor has spent a total of 3 million in the past 3 years to use this 'miracle' technology.

It is Not Free.Our stupid volunteer forces,free labour is.

Someone has to pay for this but nobody is talking or questioning them for accountability.

Twenty years from now when people ask you, just who were the idiots that thought of this carnage,I hope you can still refer to this blog for The Who's Who on The List of Stupid

Will try to list out as far as possible as to when the events were held and whom were the members of the public,corporations,companies,schools,who mooted,supported,participated or threw their support behind the preposterously misguided 3 year Green Gurney Drive Initiative (GGDI) that started in February 23rd,2010 if that is what they will have you believe.

In actual fact,this exercise started way back in 2009.Points to a perhaps that a 3 year contract was inked?

Other related information that you might like to know is that Dr Teruo Higa is the inventor of the EM Mudball whereas Jamof Sdn Bhd. is their distributor based in Kota Tinggi Johor.

Pak Soo(Mr Soo Lee Choo) is THE business link recommended by EM Malaysia a facebook page for the business facade notorious for picking up volunteer services to turn mudballs (FREE LABOUR)into something they will BILL sponsors for.

Question and statements posed on their facebook which are GRAVE cause for concern.

1.EM.1 is made in Malaysia.

2.The Malaysian version EM.1 is NOT drinkable

3.Drinkable EM(EM-X Gold) can only be obtained in Japan and the USA

4.If Malaysian EM.1 is only meant for farm and animal use, are these plants and animals safe for human consumption. Please explain......woundn't these living things become part of human food chain. I guess if its safe for animals then naturally it's safe for human consumption

Stop The Rape of Gurney Drive

Have you seen the state of Gurney Drive's shores lately?

It looks like Pantai Morib or the mudflats of an empty padi field during low tide.

Can it be reversed?It would take a heck of a lonnnnng time before those imbecilic well meaning misinformed 'environmentalists' get the message that they are playing a great part in further destroying it's beauty.

Each time some 'bright' sparks thinks they want to do something about the sludge problem that is actually caused by the hawkers throwing their soups and refuse from Anjung Gurney into the sea,they throw a semi carnival/party and chuck in thousands of mudballs into the sea.

Why not set up a night patrol starting from 11 pm to 1 am every single night to confront them and prevent the rot?No,confronting the hostile hawkers would be way too risky.That is not for chickens or the weak hearted.

Just what are the long term implications of introducing foreign micro organisms into the sea?Well,the first two occasions organisers did this,when they got the public as well as companies to volunteer arm power,plantlife from the nearby mangrove swamps festered into the area and started growing.Everyone took it as a good sign.

But when that happened certain individuals didn't take kindly to it cos a mangrove swamp view across Gurney Drive would not be good for business or property prices.

So the plants somehow mysteriously died or were removed.

Point is,no matter how good the organism is in breaking down household waste and garden refuse,no matter how wonderful it is in converting those wastes into useful vinegar,all that is carried out in a controlled and confined area unlike the vast open seabed.

Tell,what good would it do the environment to force 2 thousand mudballs down its throat?Mudballs that will eventually transform sludge into vinegar IN THE SEA?

Nature has a way of correcting itself,but when one introduces a foreign lifeform,it could and will ravage its original form.

If the Green Penang Committee continues mooting and supporting this rape of the environment we are going to end up with a Taiwanese,Kao Shiang coast beach.Beautiful and pristine but terribly smelly like the inside pipes underneath the kitchen sink due to a war between foreign cleanup agents and various refuse.

Stop this nonsensical event before it is too late to turn back the clock.How very sad to see it take shape before our very eyes with no one daring to speak up.

33 MGS Students Throw Their Weight Behind The Environment

(The Star 4th august)

GEORGE TOWN: It was a fun yet meaningful activity for 33 Methodist Girls' School (MGS) students who played their part for the environment by throwing 2,000 mud balls into the sea along Gurney Drive.

Connection Programme 2011 director Marina Tan, 17, who arranged the event, said the students made a difference to the environment by volunteering for the event.

“Their participation proves that they walked the talk' and took action on environmental issues.”
Geography teacher Loke Bee Keow said the programme was to help raise awareness among the students about the importance of doing their part for the environment.

Present at the event were Pulau Tikus assemblyman Koay Teng Hai and Green Gurney Drive Initiative co-chairman Datuk Dr Ong Hean Tee.

Koay said the event was part of the Green Gurney Drive Initiative launched on Feb 23 last year.
“To reduce organic pollutants, we throw mud balls with effective micro-organisms into the sea.
“The micro-organisms will slowly leak out of the mud balls within five days and decompose the organic waste in the sea bed thus reducing the sludge.”
The event is a quarterly basis project under the initiative which is expected to end by December 2012.

Bersih 2.0

You know how after feasting on durians ,we discard the kernels?
And because there were so much more durians,basketfuls left to be eaten,we didn't even bother to remove the tiny pieces of flesh still stuck on them?
Well,I would equate the Bersih 2.0 Rally to a critters and insects buffet invitation to clean up the kernel (Malaysia) so that every lalat (PKR),weevil(NGOs),maggot (UMNO YOUTH) and sandfly(PERKASA) can get themselves KOTOR fighting amongst themselves for a stinking piece of the political durian pie.

Am featuring what I think is the best article that sums up millions of THE OTHER NON PROTESTING SILENT Malaysians two cents about the nuisance rally.
If there was an award for most humorous,comical political article this would deserve more than a medal for making light of a very stressful point of headache for the rest of us peace loving citizens.

Don't understand why the organiser/antagonisers can't be more original? Why copy the thais and don yellow and red?Why heed people whose salary alone exceeds a couple of entire households combined ,and allow them to lead us by the nose to throw the country into chaos?

No winners,Just losers

IT’S becoming tiring for many Malaysians. We are talking about our politicians and supporters regardless of their political affiliations.
Take, for example, the organisers of Bersih 2.0. They need to realise that not all Malaysians are their fans. Not all share their beliefs and decision to stage a rally in Kuala Lumpur.
Their supporters have the right to argue and convince others that it is their constitutional right to protest but, again, do not expect everyone to share their enthusiasm.
When jazz singer Datuk Sheila Majid tweeted: “I am disappointed with all political parties, NGOs and Bersih. There are better ways to approach,” she immediately received a nasty rebuke from a PKR activist who shot her down, saying he used to respect her. She probably lost a fan because of her tweet.
There are enough people who would like to tell them that their protest was illegal and that they should know this is basic law.
Protesters should know better that when you attend a demonstration, it is not going to be a picnic. One should expect to be arrested and hauled into a Black Maria, so let’s not kid ourselves into believing that the cops would give them a red carpet welcome.
Certainly, only a politically naive person, or someone in self-denial, would believe that Datuk S. Ambiga was acting on her own.
Yes, of course, it was not politically motivated. The opposition politicians just happened to be there. Yes, they just bumped into each other at KL Hilton.
In the case of the government, many are also shaking their heads at the authorities’ sledgehammer treatment of Bersih 2.0.
Just weeks ago, not many Malaysians knew who Ambiga was. Thanks to the over-excitement of the authorities, she has become an icon overnight.
And don’t blame Malaysians for being cynical over the claims that communist elements were involved in the rally. More so when those dreamer socialists were said to have T-shirts bearing the names of dead Commie leaders.
Suddenly, Che Guevera, whom many teenagers at Pertama Complex had all this while thought was Bob Marley, was declared dangerous and subversive.
Then there was the obsession with the colour yellow. By the way, there were enough Malaysians who actually believed the Digi Man was arrested by the police, although the e-mailed picture was doctored.
But it was a funny spoof, and I wish there were enough Malaysians with a sense of humour to laugh at the fat yellow man.
Arresting people who wear yellow T-shirts with the word “Bersih” is not going to help the government win votes. Something is wrong with us if we believe revolutions can be launched by wearing yellow T-shirts with the word “Bersih”.
One need not be a rocket scientist to know the political backlash of such an action, even though there may be good security measures.
And the police, trying too hard to be friendly, put on its Facebook pictures of those detained being served with a buffet meal. There were round tables covered with tablecloth. Not bad at all, man!
No wonder there are many people who think a protest in KL is really a stroll on a weekend.
And then there was Perkasa’s Datuk Ibrahim Ali. The man is really comical. After driving enough people into a frenzy with his racist tirade, he decided to stay home. At one point, he claimed he could mobilise 15,000 people. As a face-saving gesture, he declared he would take “a stroll” at Tasik Titiwangsa. It must have been a pretty long stroll. He was probably walking around in circles.
And we can assume everyone would declare themselves winners. Bersih 2.0 will say that they managed to stage a protest despite the police locking down the city.
The authorities, too, will say that they won this round by claiming that the Bersih 2.0 crowd wasn’t as massive as they had expected.
Ibrahim Ali could also declare himself a winner as he could have successfully earned a place in the Malaysian Book of Records for taking the most number of strolls at Tasik Titiwangsa.
Umno Youth’s Patriots can also claim to be winners despite walking barely 200m before being tear-gassed and arrested.
There was another record – Anwar could still post a tweet at 4.40pm that says “undergoing CT scan for injury. Wishing #Bersih all the best.”
How he could take his mobile phone into a CT scan machine is a wonder. The Opposition leader had purportedly fallen during the protest.
Either Malaysians must be very bad in Maths or they are very good at exaggerating. The police said there were only 5,000 protesters whereas Datuk A. Samad Said said 50,000 while the pro-opposition Malaysia Chronicle news portal claimed 100,000 people.
The silat exponents turned out to be a lot of hot air in the end.
The biggest losers were the public who got stuck in horrendous traffic jams. Businesses can count their losses, vendors could not distribute their newspapers, commuters found at least eight LRT stations shut, the city’s cabbies had to stay at home and, worse, terrified city dwellers had to stock up on food unnecessarily.
And taxpayers must certainly be wondering why their money is being spent on bringing so many cops into the city – and serving a buffet meal to law-breakers at Pulapol – when they should be busy catching criminals.
It must be brought to mind that not everyone who supports Bersih 2.0 are pro-opposition. Many middle class urban voters are unhappy about many issues and it won’t hurt the government to listen to them. Don’t give up on them so they won’t give up on the government. Some concerns are legitimate ones that need fixing.
Likewise, Pakatan Rakyat should not misread today’s rally as an endorsement of the Opposition.

They resort to on spot punishment.They make kids run around the hall while chanting indoctrinated rules.They make them stand up and repeat anti sex doctrines.They tell them the internet will screw you up,lusting after the opposite sex is bad,link adultery as an extended result caused by premarital romps and that homosexuality is evil.
They stop short of asking us to circumcise females and turn males into eunuchs.
Oh and the names they use to send home the message to kids is what has most netizens up in arms against the two cojoined at the sexual organ hypocrites.

Some will argue that they are trying to make a difference by encouraging abstinence till marriage itself.But what they are doing is making sex and the opposite sex look like a crime against humanity.That if you indulge or experiment with it means you are a failure as a human being.That human beings are not animals because we can inhibit our urges.That they must cage their urges.Urges are bad.
That kids,for heaven's sakes,kids  that haven't even reached puberty,must stamp their fiery lust.And that they can help their friends who have succumbed to their urges by shunning/jeering/degrading them personally.

Teachers and headmasters dare not intervene cos MONEY HAS CHANGED HANDS!
Plus,their speeches are mostly carried out in confined areas where parents have no access.

How to spot them?
Here's an example of one of their 'well-meaning'brochures of procurement for a facist regime of sexless enjoyment.It will appear to be very innocent/nice in nature compared to the Hitler aunties alter ego emerging like a viagra countering Frankenstein when she takes over the mike.
The entire 'education' only ends when the she-devil has made kids cry cos she will entrap their eagerness to answer questions.Then shock the little ones by turning around their answers into a negative one,single them out from the entire school and riddle their poor heads with guilt and shame.

So alright she has dared to show face,whether forced to or coerced by her mother,who is a victim of domestic violence and is now divorced.

Are animal rights activists violence fetishists?

Ambivalent Academic made a fascinating observation today about certain parts of the animal rights movement:
What really strikes me is that a lot of this rhetoric reads like snuff-porn.

There is an undercurrent of appetite for the kind of violence they describe. It reads as if they take pleasure in imagining the violence they describe,... and they are inviting the reader to join in that sadistic pleasure. You can almost hear the drool.

I'm sure any sophisticated psychiatrist might have made this sort of observation, but I'm not even an unsophisticated psychiatrist. The images and language at websites such as Camille Marino's is violence-obsessed, and, as AA put it, almost erotic. Marino's loving and frantic depictions of violence are pornographic. Her enemies are portrayed bound, naked, and bloodied. Her use of words and image manipulation is full of masturbatory zeal.
And I don't think she is unique in this. Animal rights activists revel in violent imagery and language like very few other activists movements (save, perhaps, the anti-abortion movement). Their fantasies are far more disturbing than any slaughterhouse or laboratory.

Holy Trees? or Holy Crap?

Many,many,many years ago(this is a handed down tale) the tree in front of the now Tourist Police station(the last tree nearest to that weird looking supercondo) of Tanjong Bungah  also spewed something else.....sand.
Anyone cycling past it would be blasted in such a way as if it were a naughty kid pulling a prank on passers by.

The next incident happened just a few years back,I remember punters being such a nuisance at the Rifle Range Flats,all over a tree,hanging angpau after angpau filled with scribbled down numbers they hoped to strike rich with,until some irrate resident actually had it chopped down.

Back to the current mystree happening in SP and Pinang Tunggal,khurafats have started collecting the water to sell to buyers,instructing them to utter holy words before wiping or washing their face or body with it.
Somebody please alert the religious affairs department and stop them.

Whatever luck is associated to the plant will eventually see those siao punters summoning the dark forces,with some using witchcraft to squeeze a few numbers out of whatever spirit they think is contained inside or around it.

Both trees are wild.In particular the Petai tree.
Some believe that the instant another species of tree reaches 7 stories there would be a Jin residing in it.
So strong is this belief that some municipal councils regularly lop off the entire crown right down to the tree trunk, unrattled by squawking environmental activists cos they rest peacefully knowing that they would have cast aside one less unseen hazard in everybody's modern day to day lives.
The petai tree can only be found in the deep jungle,it cannot be cultivated whatever the owner says,hence it is definitely associated with a female ghost named the langsuir.
Meaning that,the area must have been formerly a thick virgin jungle.
And these beings don't like to leave their nesting grounds,hence they will still be there even if you play Trance music 24/7.
Apparently they jump from tree to tree and hover around their favourite perch.
Once on the ground they have to use their fangs to cling onto surfaces like rotten tree trunks etc.

Do these punters know what the heck they are doing if they manage to get its attention and it follows them back into their homes?

To Respect it is one thing,but to worship it is to court disaster.

Now just how lucky can that be?

Trees Showering Holy Water

KEPALA BATAS: Thousands of people from as far as Johor and Malacca have been flocking to see two trees in Pinang Tunggal here and Sungai Petani, said to be spraying “holy water” over the past week.
Witnesses said they had felt showers and occasional droplets from the trees – a 12m petai tree in Kampung Lembah Raja in Pinang Tunggal and an 18m wild tree in Taman Ria Jaya in Sungai Petani.
Even researchers have different opinions about the reasons for the showers.
Former Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia lecturer Prof Dr Zaidi Mat Isa said the showers from the trees could be water discharge or urine from cicadas during mating season.
“But it is difficult to imagine how these little insects can retain so much water,” said Dr Zaidi, who has been conducting research on cicadas for over 10 years.
Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) Vector Control Research Unit coordinator Assoc Prof Dr Zairi Jaal said insects generally did not discharge waste material in fluid form.
“The water could have come from the trees. Nevertheless, there are cicadas that can hibernate and suddenly emerge in large numbers, mate and die,” he said.
Odd-job worker Abdul Ghani Md Hussin, 41, who owns the 35-year-old petai tree, said he first felt the showers last Saturday when he was walking past the tree next to his poultry shed at 4pm.
“My wife Norhayati Abdul Karim also felt the showers but there was no rain at that time. The clear water sprinkles are heavier at night and we collected about a pail of water over the past week,” he said.
Norhayati, 38, a housewife, said she did not stop anyone from collecting the water, adding that some believed it was a blessing to wipe their bodies and face with the “holy water” while others sold it for RM5 per cup.
“But if it is cicada’s urine, how come only this particular tree is spraying water when cicadas are also found on other trees?” asked a neighbour Saad Saaban.
In Sungai Petani, some individuals had even built an altar under the wild tree and lit joss sticks besides placing offerings such as coffee, milk and thosai with dhall curry.
The 25-year-old tree, located in an open field behind the Pasar Singgah Selalu SP market, had pieces of “holy” cloth tied to its branches and bore some dried red marks.
Muhamad Sharul Rizan Halmi, 29, from the nearby Paya Nahu flats, said there were no cicadas in the area.
Onlooker Saw Kok Lye, 58, said some people thought the phenomenon would usher in good fortune.
“Some punters believe it is a sign that ‘Datuk Kong’ will bless visitors with winning numbers,” he said.
