Here's a list of establishments that have closed down after being given mostly positive reviews by food bloggers and journalists alike.
I will add to the list from time to time when I can recall more.
This started as a post in the main page but since it is slowly increasing in size and for easier reference I have decided to dedicate an entire page to it.

Notice that almost everytime these writers decide to hold a gathering to cover the place as a group most of those establishments end up having to close shop.
Is it because there are lots of people that read their recommendations but boycott their reviews cos they have their reservations as to whether they are sincere in covering the event?

Nan Yang Chinese Cuisine @ opposite Yap Temple near Khoo Kongsi ( not to be confused with Nan Yang near Jln Burma.It could be the same owner or trademark could have been bought over.Now it looks vastly different from the Yap Temple one with dark tinted cybercafe like frontage plus includes hongkong cuisine unlike the former location)
12. BBQ Chicken @ Gurney Plaza (this is the korean chicken deep fried in virgin olive oil )

14. Anson Park Seafood @ Kafe Goodall-2 ,Jln Burma (the entire place has been closed down lock,stock and barrel)
