Rainforest Bakery & Pastry @ Chulia Street

Cooked up crap.
Total hype, based on a 'cute'story of how one of the twin brothers learnt the so called 'tricks'of the trade while trapsing from London through Italy.

As for the claim that the breads resemble European,I would say in your dreams.
Am beginning to suspect a conspiracy that links overseas returnees to an inner circle,a Brotherhood and Sisterhood of"I scratch your back, you scratch mine".

To give you an idea of what I am ranting about. put yourself in a travellers shoes to understand why some have given this bakery good reviews.
Lets just say you have been away from Malaysia for a month and all of a sudden, you spot a stall selling roti canai, roti benggali, apom and kaya toast in Geneva .Wouldn't the worst tasting feel like a taste of home and a slice of heaven then?

Better you go get your supply from Cold Storage for much less.

Organic my S.
I popped in expecting authenticity,I came home and my organs came to a near halt upon discovering that this was nothing more than a rip off .
An ordinary baker plumming up his feathers with his head up in the haze coated clouds, that his queer way of badgering bakery heads for an 'education' gave him outstanding credentials and put him on a pedestal like a fake stuffed peacock.

Frankly, their standard is not far from foreign hypermarket breads.
They are just one standard higher than the evening market baker at Presgrave Street, with the only difference being, that they are supposed to be made without preservatives.
